Wednesday, Day 11 Today we got to visit Dublin City hall and we heard yet another history of the formation of modern Ireland from a member of the Dublin City Council. If you hear the history of a country often enough and from a wide variety of sources, you begin to get a sense of where the stories converge and diverge (and what is particularly important or interesting to the storyteller). The guy in the bike helmet below is the former mayor of Dublin who happened to stop by City Hall while we were getting our tour. This is the ceiling of the rotunda in City Hall--absolutely gorgeous.
